This was the first book I bought in my attempt to learn Mandarin Chinese. Grouped by their construction, each character has a story attached to aid in memorising. There is also online content to go with the book. I worked my way through several chapters but found it more difficult to remember them as the complexity increased!! A fascinating book and I think it is good to use several methods to aid learning.
