21. Rae of Hope by W.J. May
Young adult fantasy. An easy and well written story for teens. Very enjoyable. First of a series but could be read as a stand-alone story. I wasn't compelled to read the rest of the series but it was a good read.

20. Closure by Randall Wood
Intricately plotted thriller with a moral twist, following both the killer and the F.B.I. One phone call in the middle had me feeling perplexed. Why he would make that call was a mystery to me? Other than that, a good read. The complexity of the plot had me reading slowly and in small chunks at the start. The prison stats at the start of each chapter was a clever addition given the storyline.

19. Forbidden Forest by Tenaya Jayne
Unusual quirky characters and an intriguing compulsive storyline. I loved this one, first in a trilogy, be warned it ends in a cliffhanger!!

18.Amethyst by Heather Bowhay
Young adult fantasy, this was an enjoyable read. It left me intrigued enough to want to read the rest of the series.
