My last three knitting projects have been garter rib scarves using Caron free Mens interchangeable scarves pattern. I used Patons Colour works Aran for these two. A quick and easy pattern to knit.

Malaysian vegetable pickle and Kitty love

I made Malaysian style Acar Vegetable pickle adapted from my Malaysian cookbook .Its great to eat with barbecued meat or as part of a chinese meal .I used rice vinegar to blanch the vegetables as the first time I made it with ordinary white vinegar, the taste was too strong. I also substitute peanut butter, natural and crunchy for the ground peanuts.
My finished Kitty love washcloth, from a free Ravelry pattern ,designed by Cheryl Lacey .Its for my daughter Kat and I'm very pleased with the results. I used size 5mm needles instead of 4.5mm as recommended, and Rowan all seasons cotton 10 ply .It knitted up really quickly and used just one 50g ball.

My current knitting projects as shown above!  Jenna Krupars owl puff,a free ravelry pattern download.I've knitted three but this is the most advanced one.I just need to complete it using the kitchener method. This is why I've stopped as I've never tried this before.I have a tutorial on my pinterest page so now I've posted this on my blog,I must have a go so I can post the completed owl puff.Anyone who has been on my pinterest pages will see I have abit of an  owl obsession! The owl puff was also my first attempt at knitting in the round so two new skills in one project!

My second current project is Chrissy Grahams basketweave cowl also a free ravelry download and knitted up really quickly in super bulky wool.
