In the evening a friend visited briefly bearing gifts of home cooked curry, Christmas decorations and mince pies. In the afternoon our weekly food shop. Ginger cat visited late evening and as it was raining spent much of the night in our house.

Monday morning means singing group, around twenty of us participating in vocal and rhythm exercises before working on pieces "snow" and "autumn leaves" with a well deserved break for coffee, cake and chat. Came out of the hall to more rain so two buses home instead of my usual walk and one bus.

Days one and two

Saturday was rainy and gloomy, not a promising start to December. Computer issues causing me problems. The problem with getting older is a lack of memory for changed passwords. Eventually managed to regain access. Persistence winning out in the end!
Sunday was a brighter day. Our visiting fluffy ginger cat spent much of the day with us. He or she is very friendly and despite us not encouraging or feeding, seems to like spending time with us. Online orders completed, ironing finished and wrote a letter  mainly in french to my french penfriend with the assistance of google translate.

The premise and story were engaging but I found the ending less so. Possibly as other books tell spin off stories. Having said that the story of these characters were complete.
