A wild sheep chase by Haruki Murakami

Seriously surreal dominated by the search for a sinister sheep, easy to read but difficult to understand. Murakami explores themes of love ,loss and transience of the human condition and a search for reality in an unreal and hostile environment. His novels are very thought provoking as so much is unexplained, and are underpinned by an underlying sense of sadness and loss. A truly original writer
